The initial lineup has been announced for the Molotov Rocktail 2006 festival set for August 26th, 2006 in Toronto, Ontario. The event will take place at the Berkley Church in downtown Toronto, with 20 bands spread over two stages.

Bands set to participate include Protest the Hero, the Sainte Catherines, the Flatliners, Million Dollar Marxists, Fifth Hour Hero, GFK, Hostage Life, Ill Scarlett, the Video Dead, For the Mathematics, Ceremonial Snips, Yesterdays Ring and Automatic Dub Riot with more confirmations expected soon.

The show will benefit the Covenant House, a Toronto-based charity that provides shelter and other services to homeless and runaway youth. Punknews.org is one of the sponsors of the event.
