Billy Idol has announced a summer US tour set to kick off on July 28th in Chicago. The long-running musician released Devil's Playground last year, it was his first new record in more than a decade.
While no new releases have been announced, Idol recently recorded two new tracks for inclusion on upcoming compilations. The first, a cover British pop-blues band Mungo Jerry's 1970 hit "In The Summertime" and the second, a version of "Tomorrow Never Comes" by the Beatles for inclusion on an upcoming tribute to the band alongside Queensrÿche, Steve Vai, Lemmy, Billy Gibbons and Yngwie Malmsteen.
