Record Theory signed Charlottesville, VA's Truman Sparks and the Nice Jenkins.

Truman Sparks is described as a "compelling blend of progressive, punk, and indie rock [with] vocals few and far between, making way for the enormous riffs and driving drum beats. […] But make no mistake, this album will likely melt your face.."
You can check out "Juan the Sperm Whale" from Truman Sparks here.

The Nice Jenkins will be releasing The World Famous Hallelujah Cotton Candy Rent Party! which promises "a range of styles chronicalling the band's rent-raising party. A smattering of instrumental and humorous interludes pepper the album, creating a unique experience. At its heart, this is a pop album that won't let go of its rock roots.."
