Hold Steady have announced more dates on their fall tour set to kick off just prior to the release of their debut for Vagrant. The album, titled Boys and Girls in America and will hit stores on October 3rd. The record was produced by John Agnello (Sonic Youth, Dinosaur Jr., Jawbox, Patti Smith) and recorded at Water Music in Hoboken, NJ. The album also includes guest appearances from Soul Asylum's David Pirner and The Reputation's Elizabeth Elmore.
The album is the follow up to the acclaimed Separation Sunday.
