Even being a legendary band like Dinosaur Jr. doesn't protect you from the parasites who steal from bands. The recently reunited band, who were on the road supporting the recent reissue of their major label albums, Green Mind and Where You Been recently suffered a significant theft while they were parked in Brooklyn, New York.

The band had this to say:

Aftr the show on August 29 in Brooklyn, the band's trailer was broken into, and lots of gear was stolen - guitars, basses, cymbals, effects pedals, etc. Please keep your eyes out for any of this missing gear in music shops, pawn shops or anywhere for that matter.

The band, who reunited with their original lineup, including the return of prodigal bassist Lou Barlow, have been touring for the past two years.
