Disaster hits the United States in a way that not only claims innocent lives, but captures the attention and concern of the entire world. Yesterday morning Scott, Aubin and I all contributed to a post about the attack, calling for blood donations. I said something along the lines of "There will be no further posts today." I believed that the shock over the events would overtake people's interest in our inconsequential website… I was wrong… We have been flooded with an abundance of emotional views and opinions in a relatively short time. In awe I saw hundreds of messages discussing the events appear each time I refreshed my screen. Many of you are shocked, saddened and angry; we have attempted to put your views up for whoever will read them. We are a punk website however, not for money but for our collective love the music. I think I speak for many of us when I say I get my strength from music. With that in mind, we will now try to return to providing you with music news. There are much more qualified news sources then us. Hopefully they can keep you informed. Click READ MORE to get the last set of opinions that were submitted to us. We must move forward, but can never forget…

Chuck Rock: I know that this isn't related to 'punk' really at all, all though I do run Psyko Records, so this can be my excuse. I just wanted to let everyone know the best way to find out about donating blood and setting up an appointment would be these options:

http://4.21.230.152/home/default.htm
or by calling 1-888-blood-88
also 1-800/888-US-Blood
Also a little something to think about:

The flights that were Highjacked were from United and AA, they were numbered as follows:
11, 93, 175, and 77
11 = Today's Date
9+3 = 12 = Tomorrow
1+7+5 = 13 = Thursday
7+7 = 14 = Friday

Hope this is of some use to you all.

Anonymous : Hey, im from Scotland but I think everyone, everywhere should go to amazon.com and make a donation to the American Red Cross to help out with the relief effort in Manhattan. Every single pence goes to the Red Cross, so I think its a worthy cause and the least we can do. heres an easy link here

Luis Monteiro, Portugal : Well, we are all shocked with what happened yesterday… but, personally, well i felt sorry for the families and friends of all the inocent people who died, there is no question about it… it's human… but, well, we must see this also from a non-american perspective and… politic one… Thousands of peoplewere killed, but… what the hell it was time the bastards had a shock in their own soil… we can put this side by side with what happened because of american attaks… and this one was not worse… only it was mediatized… it were in all front pages of the papers… fuck… what have those bastards done in hiroshima?… what have they done in the Gulf War?… in Cambodja? in Vietnam? in Iraq?… and most of all… what are their american enterprises doing to little kids and workers in their fucken factories in the 3rd world? what was tha Bush doing when he did not sign that fucken environmental treaty?… man, what was done to them yesterday, they already have done in many parts of the world… directly and indirectly… They were stealing children's lives and are still doing so… the damn nike factories around the world were not closed… now, well, of course it is damn sad because they were innocent people they have felt the hell in their damn streets… So many bullshit about terrorism… they are the biggest terrorists… but they do legalized terrorism… America, you have innocent blood on your hands…!!!!! Well, just wrote this… because i felt i had to say something… Let's open our eyes, punks everywhere… they can't foul us… let's stand together… Fuck NATO, Fuck the MONOPOLIZED PRESS!!! Be fine! (We want it out of NATO)

stolenchair : ok, im here in the suburbs of NYC, the day after. I have to say thanks to everyone who has been so great and donated blood and offered there condolences. the mood here, and all over the tri county area, is somber evryhting is different now. im glad to see that this site realizes that there are more important things then bands right now. the converge show here is cancelled, but i couldnt really care less right now. the club that i hang out at is covered with ash and smoke, the power is out, and people are missing. Its like a school shooting, but worse, cos theres no clear attacker. During school yesterday, all you could see where people on cells trying to getin touch with their parents, random people crying,t eachers pacing around. Its horrible. perhaps the us may hav in some way brought this on themselves, but there is absolutly no justification for this tradgedy. I want to punch somehting evrytime i think about those symbols of my city collapsing. Ive gone to conventions in those buildings, u know? i bought a pretzal there once. its hasnt sunk in, and as more and more of kids at my school loose loved ones, it will only get worse. too make it even worse, my girlfriends mom, who is an administrator in the bronx, told me of kids, whose parents worked as elevator operators or janitors, who are now orphaned. this isnt even just corp business men, these are brave fireman, workers, etc. i mean when those 3 men died overe the summer it was horrible. and now they are saying over 266 fireman are dead? we lost the cheif and deputity cheif? its unbeleivable. from the train station in my town, where u used to be able to see the towers, u can now make out smoke clouds, which just turned browninsh and dense. the only good thing i hav seen is the outpouring of good will and lawfullness and respect, the hundreds and hundreds of people giving blood. the line was over 4 hours long in greenwich village. and the punk community has been very helpfull in this tradgedy. thanx again to evryone, and lets hope that there are no more casualties. we cant let bush or anyone get us involved in a conflict which will cost more lives, parents hav alreayd lost so much, we dont need kids like us being shipped off either. and we cant let them limit our freedoms, and the worst, i have seen many arabs being picked on, and hated. we need peace, and cant blame the american arabs or the poor starved citizens over seas for the actions of a rich fundamentalist asshole.
