Chaotic hardcore pioneers Converge have some updates about their new record, No Heroes. The album is their sophomore Epitaph release and is set to hit the streets on October 24th.
The band has announced two dates scheduled for off days on their ongoing tour with Mastodon. The first, set for September 17th at the Creepy Crawl in St.Louis, MO and the second set for September 27th in Anaheim at the Chain Reaction.
The band recently recovered from van troubles by apparently taking it apart and using some sort of voodoo to repair it. Even the band denies any responsibility for fixing it, but concludes "we have headlights that stay on now and tires that have air in them now, so that's a good thing."
Finally, on the new fangled multimedia front, the band is planning to debut some new music from No Heroes in early October as well as shoot a video with director Ryan Zunkley.
