Mock Orange sent us an update on their recording plans for the follow up to their Silverthree full length, Mind Is Not Brain.

The band described the new material as:

Partly a logical progression from where we were with Mind is Not Brain…but the music is also more to the point. We've been concentrating on melody, different instrumentation and just anything that feels good. It's a new record, so that means its going to be a new thing.

We don't put any rules or restrictions on what we do, so of course its not going to sound like Mind is Not Brain v.2, but its also recognizable as Mock Orange.

The band is also hoping to debut some new material in November.
