After releasing The Best Of Goldfinger last year on Warner/Maverick, it appears the long-running ska/punk act Goldfinger has parted ways with the label.
The band made the announcement as they were soliciting fan input for the artwork of their next full length:
We're currently putting together the artwork for our new record & we need your help. We're looking for live shots from the past year only. We have a picked an album title and it will be released in the spring by SideOneDummy.
The album follows the band's last studio full length for Warner/Maverick as well, Disconnection Notice. The news is somewhat surprising in light of the significant role frontman John Feldman played at Maverick, with his involvement in A&R and production at the label and the signing of acts including The Used, Mest, Story of the Year and more.
