The Decemberists (US / Europe)

The Decemberists have posted more dates for their Crane Wife tour. The band has added dates in Europe starting in February.

The band recently released their first full length debut for Capitol Records. The album is thematically based on a tragic Japanese folk tale, but band leader Colin Meloy promises a fair dose of rock'n'roll, rape, murder and violence as well. The band recorded with Death Cab For Cutie's Chris Walla. The album, titled The Crane Wife follows their Kill Rock Stars release, Picaresque.
