Oakland rock/punk band formerly known as Inspect Her Gadget is back with a new name and new album. The once all-female foursome (which now includes a male drummer who joined in January 2006) pays homage to their former name by officially changing the band name to Goodbye Gadget.
The band is releasing their debut full-length, Killing June, December 12. The 10 track album will feature tracks mixed by Joe Chiccarelli, who is known for his work with Frank Zappa, and has an extensive amount of experience with female vocals(working with everyone from Pat Benetar to Tori Amos and even Courtney Love while she was in Hole). You can check out a demo track on their MySpace Page.
