It looks like punk icons NOFX can once again be added to the list of bands giving the fans what they want to hear at shows. On tour last year, the band played their classic 18-minute long epic, "The Decline", in it's entirety on almost every date. Now, the band has announced that for the four Hollywood shows of their upcoming tour, a different album will be played each night. The guys broke it down as follows:
As some of you in the Los Angeles area might know, we will be playing 4 nights at the Hollywood House of Blues. We decided to make it not be boring (for us) and try to perform 75 different songs over the 4 nights. So for all who are going, this is what to expect. On monday we're gonna try to play "the Decline" in it's entirety. On Tuesday were gonna attempt to play the whole "Punk in Drublic" album (well, there's a couple songs that might not make it). Thursday will be full of songs off "White Trash, two heebs, and a Bean", and "So long and thanks for all the Shoes". Friday is leftovers day.
Playing fan-favorite albums in their entirety seems to be a new trend. Last year, the Alkaline Trio performed Goddamnit on every night of the tour.
