The always reliable Onion AV Club has posted a punk-and-emo-heavy list of what it describes as The Worst Band Names of 2006. Besides more well known contenders like Gnarls Barkley, Cute Is What We Aim For and The Devil Wears Prada, the site clearly dug a little deeper, adding less mainstream acts like Set Your Goals, Bandits of the Acoustic Revolution, Tony Danza Tap Dance Extravaganza and Bodies In The Gears Of The Apparatus.

There are some truly brilliant entries and more than a few puns, like the wonderful Guns N'Rosa Parks, or some that are just plain weird, like Super Fucking Judo Flip and Genital Hercules.
