Keyboardist James DeWees has reportedly joined My Chemical Romance for their ongoing tour. According to a reader, and confirmed by sources close to the tour, DeWees is assisting the band as they bring The Black Parade to life on their ongoing tour.

No word on whether Dewees, who previously moonlighted in New Found Glory will be on tap for the band's next album, only the tour is confirmed so far. According to the reader, Dewees only performed during songs from The Black Parade, not during the encore which consisted of older material.

Dewees began his musical career as drummer for Coalesce before joining Get Up Kids as keyboardist. He also released a handful of records under the pseudonym, Reggie and the Full Effect.
