Slackers dates in Japan, Korea, Canada, US

New York City ska stalwarts the Slackers have announced tour dates for the coming months. The band hits Japan and South Korea in March, returning to the US in April to play shows on the east coast and into Canada. Summer finds the band in Europe playing various festivals including Summerjam, Potsdam Ska Festival and Ilosaarirock Festival.

The Japaese dates will be accompanied by a retrospective CD titled Big Tunes. A new vinyl 45 will also hit the streets there with the songs "Yer Still Blue" and "Mama Told Me" included.

Also on April 14th the band will take over Brooklyn venue The Hook for Slackfest 2. The band will play with a number of their favorite acts including Mischief Brew, Mighty Fine, Lone Sharks, and Dub Is A Weapon. DJ Queen Majesty will be spinning old school reggae and ska at the event.
