Deftones have announced the dates for a summer tour set to kick off in early May. The long-running band released Saturday Night Wrist last year. For the tour, the band has enlisted Japan's Dir En Grey as well as Equal Vision's The Fall of Troy.
The latter band earned some interesting reactions from Deftones fans who seem to have dismissed the band out of hand. Lead guitarist/vocalist Thomas Erak seems confident that he'll win them over noting: "These people are gonna get a big surprise when the "screamo-emo" shit doesn't end up being anything but a heavy A-Setlist."
