Since news about Fall Out Boy continues to come in like a large flowy thing, here is some of the latest that the multi-platinum pop-punk act has been up to.
First, bassist and perennial news fodder Pete Wentz recently spoke with Mark Hoppus. Hoppus and Wentz will soon be on tour together, with Hoppus' new band, Plus 44 opening for Wentz' group on the Honda Civic Tour. You can check out the interview here.
Next, in a bid to top the charts in Mexico, Pete has agreed to get an Aztec Eagle tattoo, if the band's new album, Infinity on High tops the charts there. However, Lou Dobbs would likely contend that this would take jobs away from Mexican musicians. The only solution would be to build a 2000 mile security fence to keep American musicians out of Mexico.
Finally, the band recently collaborated with "It" producer Timbaland on a new remix. Timbaland, who has also been in the news for alledged plagarizing music from a Commodore C64-based composer, recently took on "One and Only." You can check out the song here, courtesy of Idolator..
