Jason Shevchuk (None More Black, Kid Dynamite) and his solo project OnGuard, have signed to Suburban Home.

Label czar Virgil had this to say:

Words cannot describe how excited I am to work with On Guard. I have been the biggest fan of Kid Dynamite and None More Black and I would have never guessed in a million years that one day we would be able to work with Jason on a project. Although details have not been finalized for the upcoming album, it is certain that we will be releasing On Guard's debut on LP and CD and distributing it digitally and the really cool thing is that we will be working with Jason to make sure that proceeds from the album will go to a number of charities.

Jason announced the formation of OnGuard in November of 2006, shortly before the news that None More Black was calling it a day.
