A thankfully swift resolution in the curious case of Germs drummer Don Bolles and his allegedly drug-containing soap. According to The LA Times, a police analysis revealed that the soap did not contain drugs, but contained…. soap.

The finger is being pointed at the ODV-brand NarcoPouch 928 by soap maker Dr.Bronner who experimented with the test and also found GHB in popular commercial soap brands including Neutrogena. A representative from Dr.Bronner's condemned the field kit saying that police departments should immediately switch to a more accurate test.

Bolles said he always carries Dr. Bronner's organic soap, which he said helps "keep his skin like that of a 15-year-old girl."
