Politically-charged instrumental Edmonton band Fractal Pattern has called it quits. The band formed in 2001 and has 2 full length and 1 EP under their belt. The band's toured North America several times alongside bands like Minus the Bear, Clann Zu, the Weakerthans, the Constantines and Propagandhi.

Members of Fractal Pattern remain active in organizations such as the Walk for Darfur campaign, which will conclude with a ralley in Edmonton Sunday, April 29th. Members are also playing music in a number of projects including Secret Fires, In Irons and fury|panic|fight|fire|rage|desire.
