Sumerian Records has signed Chicago's Born of Osiris. The label describes the band as "an epic mix of intricate and memorable melodies with challenging time signatures that still hold an infectious groove, all while maintaining sheer, tasteful brutality."

The group's debut album, The New Reign is slated for an August 2007 release. Additionally, the band will embark on a two-month full North American Tour this Summer with Winds of Plague, Catherine, Beneath the Sky and At The Throne of Judgement.
