In his latest 'State Of The Union' post over on the vinyl collective blog, Virgil from Suburban Home Records/Vinyl Collective is releasing details of the label's upcoming releases -- including the much-anticipated Armchair Martian discography.
We just booked 3 releases for August 7th: Drag the River/Dents split LP/CD; Armchair Martian "Good Guys, Bad Band" discography; and Tim Barry "Laurel St Demos" LP/CD. The Drag/Dents split features both bands doing the exact same 4 songs: 2 of their own and then 2 covers of the 2 songs that the other band does. Make sense? It is a fun release and will be limited to 1,000 copies on CD and 250 copies on LP. The Armchair Martian discography features the entire "Monsters Always Scream" record plus a lot of b-sides and tracks that had never been released.
