Looks like The Methadones will be supporting their upcoming new full length as a five piece. The band is gearing up for the release of This Won't Hurt" which is due out July 10, 2007. Their label explained:

"Funny side note, at the recent Methadones show in Chicago, the band was spontaneously joined onstage by their old pal ken from Battalion of Saints. The band loved the lineup so much that they are permanently going to become a five-piece, enabling vocalist Dan to stalk the stage with just the microphone. Wanna know my theory? I think Dan just wanted to free up his beer-drinkin' hand."

The new record is the follow-up to 21st Century Power Pop Riot which was released in 2006
