Mississauga, Ontario act Struck By Truth is calling it quits. From the band's statement:

We have worked very hard for the last 7 years on music that we feel is genuine and that we care about in Struck By Truth. We poured as much blood, sweat, tears, anger, sadness, love, happiness, desire, and any other emotion we could muster for as long as we could, we've given up relationships, lost jobs, quit school, fought with family, friends, and each other.

It is time that the members Struck By Truth part ways with one another. This has a bad feeling; like an Old Dog being put down, though we love it and hate to see it go, a member of our families and our lives, it's time to let it go and say goodbye.

The band has three final shows scheduled this month, with two dates in Brampton, Ontario and one in Toronto.
