Healing The Divide: A Concert For Peace And Reconciliation hits stores on July 10th. It's the result of a live show recorded on September 21, 2003 concert at New York's Avery Fisher Hall, part of the Dalai Lama's 20 day tour of the US that year. The label describes the event as a "a musical meeting of East and West, transcending cultural boundaries through music." All proceeds from the release will go to the Tibetan Health Initiative, a program that provides health insurance and medical care to Tibetan Buddhist monks and nuns living in refugee settlements. Each CD purchase will reportedly provide one year of health insurance.
