Helmet has announced some dates next month with support from Burning Brides.
Tonight the heavy post-hardcore act will perform at an invite-only party celebrating the new film Tatua by comic book creators Paul Jenkins (Hellblazer, Inhumans, Wolverine: Origin) and Rob Prior (Spawn The Impaler, "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" TV show, EFX). Invitations to the rooftop performance at the Westgate Hotel in San Diego were given away at the film's panel this past Friday at the San Diego Comic Con. The creators and Helmet frontman Page Hamilton gave away a set of custom guitars at the panel as well.
Helmet's video for the song "Money Shot" has been also been posted and you can find that video here. The track comes off the group's latest album, Monochrome, which was released in July 2006. The album is the follow-up to 2004's Size Matters was co-produced by Wharton Tiers, who recorded the band's first two releases, "Strap It On" and "Meantime".
