Avenged Sevenfold has set a release date for their upcoming album and follow up to 2005's City Of Evil. The band recorded the new disk in a Burbank studio. City of Evil has sold 800,000 copies in the United States. (That's probably way more than your favorite band sold, unless your favorite band is Maroon 5 in which case it's way less. )

The new record is titled Avenged Sevenfold and is due out October 16, 2007.
