G7 troubadour Greg MacPherson is on the road now touring eastern Canada with Halifax based Horses. MacPherson is singing the praises of his tour mates, calling them "one of Nova Scotia's finest rock bands." He commented:
We're all from the same city on Cape Breton Island and we aim to set the record straight on there being more than all that celtic garbage coming out of the east Maritimes. Horses will serve as my backing band, and we've been practicing new songs in my brother's dingy basement every day for a week now with excellent results.
The Greg MacPherson Band released Night Flares in 2005.
