"The first leg of Bad Religion's upcoming tour sold out instantly when tickets when on sale last Saturday. Tickets for the shows, which include a Jan. 23 show in San Francisco, and three consecutive shows on Jan. 24, 25, and 26 in Los Angeles, were being sold though the individual respective clubs and Ticketmaster. Many dedicated fans formed lines early in the morning around the Los Angeles area with hopes of seeing the punk veterans three nights in a row only to find that when sales were opened at 10am, the show was instantly sold out. I have not heard of one individual who was able to secure tickets through Ticketmaster itself. Strangely enough, many local ticket brokers around the Los Angeles area have as many as 10 tickets for each show. The ticket price, which started at a low $10 per ticket, is now around $100, with some brokers selling as high as $140 per ticket. The price is expected to climb as the show dates draw nearer. Many hordes of fans are now left ticketless and unable to fork over the C-note to see a once very modestly priced show. There has been no comment from Bad Religion." Yes. Im listening to the new Bad Religion album right now, and Im catching vapors from Stranger Then Fiction and maybe some earlier works. The song "Broken", good lord! No doubt about it, this band is still vital.
