After a bit of a silence, the Public Serpents have posted a new track. You can hear "I Attest" at their MySpace page.

The Serpents are the newest project from NYC squatscian Skwert who has spent time in bands such as Choking Victim, INDK and American Distress. A label for their release is still undetermined, but they're self–releasing their demo via Tent City Records.

The album promises a merger of dancehall reggae, punk and ska akin to "Choking Victim, INDK, Operation Ivy, The Specials, American Distress, The Clash, Misfits, Bucaneer and Buju Banton."
