German pop punks the Donots have launched their own label dubbed Solitary Man Records to release their next full length in Germany, Switzerland and Austria. The band parted ways with their old home of HUN Records following the release of their 2004 full length Got The Noise.
A few years ago the band launched a Japanese version of Solitary Man to put out records in that market. The Japanese version of the label has released music from the Beatsteaks, Dropkick Murphys, Dover, Toy Dolls and Boy Sets Fire among others. Ingo Donot commented "We've made some very positive experiences in Japan so far which have convinced us to expand to Europe and take care of the new DONOTS record ourselves." As for Japan, the new record will be put out there in a joint venture between Solitary Man and Howling Bull Records, titled Bull/Man Records.
