Of the potential candidates for the 2008 edition of the Rock'n'Roll Hall of Fame, the five winner: Leonard Cohen, The Ventures, The Dave Clark Five, John Mellencamp and Madonna, have been confirmed.

Other prospective nominees included The Beastie Boys, Afrika Bambaataa, Chic and Donna Summer.
