YouInSeries has announced that after five years together, the band has "finally ran its course." Kyle (vocals) had this to say regarding the break–up:
We were in the process of writing songs for our second record when I was informed that some of us were not compelled to continue with this lifestyle anymore. It saddens me in such a way that its hard to express in words. I really wish we could have recorded our new songs for you guys to hear. It was some of my favorite material I have ever worked on.
The band released Outside We Are Fine through Equal Vision in 2006.
I want to personally thank my bandmates, everyone at Equal Vision Records, any managment/booking agents we have worked with in the past, and anyone who has ever com to seen us play live or picked up our record. You're support means the world to me. Thank you so much for giving us a chance. I've put the last five years of my life into this project, and it's hard to come to terms with it being over. That being said, I fully intend on continuing my musical passion. Over the next few weeks, months, or however long it takes, I will be searching for a new project to work on.
