You're the lucky reader of the 31st edition of the Punknews.org Vinyl File. This column aims to keep you informed with upcoming releases as well as spotlighting interesting releases, your favorite bands' own collections and labels with a history of vinyl releases worth talking about. As always, Vinyl File is brought to you by Ben Conoley.

This week's Vinyl File features a look at upcoming releases from Cake, Blacklisted and Paint it Black. Don't forget to come back next Wednesday for a Vinyl File interview with Asbestos Records.

Deathwish Inc has posted the colors of the new Blacklisted album, Hevuer Than Heaven. The three versions are various combinations of blue, green and clear vinyl in an inside out pattern.

If you ordered a copy of Gaslight Anthem's new EP Señor and the Queen and happened across a white version, you're in luck. It seems that in addition to the red and black copies that went on sale, there were also a very limited number of white copies. There has been no official word on how many there were.

Things have been happening over at the No Idea Records headquarters in Gainseville. The upcoming self titled Glass & Ashes album is available for pre-order and will be shipping in March. They also have a number of records back in stalk and in new colors. These records include Hot Water Music's Fuel For The Hate Game, In a Million Pieces from The Draft (10 dark blue, 18 pale blue, 75 maroon and 312 pale gray), Chuck Ragan's Feast or Famine, The Great Depression by Defiance, Ohio and finally Young Livers' most recent, The New Drop Era.

Get Outta Town Records will be releasing Paint It Black's demo 7" towards the end of the summer. The demo is going to be remastered and available in a number of colors with all proceeds going to benefit Callum Robbins. The label is also set to relase We All Go Down Together from Attitude on April 22. The "ice cream" themed record is limited to 500 with hand screened jackets.

In other Paint it Black news, Rivalry Records have already sold out of the first pressing of New Lexicon. The label is now taking pre-orders for a second pressing of 500 on green and 1,000 on blue vinyl.

As we announced earlier today, The Bronx are working on two new albums. They promise that one of the records will be their "mariachi record" with the second being good old punk tracks. Both albums will be released on double vinyl.

Dirtnap Records will be reissuing the first album from The Marked Men. Expect it sometime this summer.

Cake's Motorcade of Generosity is going to be reissued on vinyl this autumn. No word on whether any more of the band's records will be made available.

Clevland, Ohio's Bears have recently released their self-titled album on vinyl. It's limited to 300 copies with silkscreened covers. Each copy also includes a CD-R of the album.

Saddle Creek has just released the second single from Georgie James' (ex Q and Not U) album Places. The limited edition 7" is available on white vinyl and features two songs with a download code for the digital version, which includes two additional tracks.
