Rise Against plans European release of “This Is Noise” with more content

Rise Against has announced plans to release their recent rarities EP, This Is Noise in Europe and the UK. Frontman Tim McIlrath explained:

Good news for our European and UK fans, our b–sides and rarities EP "This Is Noise" is finally being released in Germany, the UK, Switzerland, and Italy on April 7th and in Austria on April 11th.This version differs slightly from our North American release and will feature alternate artwork and additional material.

The European release will feature seven tracks unlike the 5–song North American version. The new material includes live versions of "State of the Union" and "Like the Angel" and substitutes an acoustic "Everchanging" for Lifetime's "Boy's No Good" as well as dropping Black Flag's "Fix Me" but adding Minor Threat's eponymous song.

The release coincides with the band's touring plans which include US Warped Tour performance dates. These dates will be preceded by shows in Europe including the Download Festival in England (with the Offspring and Motorhead among others) followed by the Greenfield Festival in Switzerland, and both the Hurricane and Southside Festivals in Germany.
