Acclaimed New York ska act The Slackers have posted a song from their new record online. You can stream "Every Day Is Sunday" at their MySpace page. The song appears on Self Medication, the band's first release for the Pietasters founded Indication Records. The album hits stores on April 29.
The band has a number of in–store events planned to support the release. Today the band will play twice in Toronto, first doing a performance of six new songs at Sonic Boom Records, then following with a show at Lee's Palace. On the eve of the US release date the band will be in New York City, playing at the Virgin Megastore in Union Square.
Self Medication follows up 2006's Hellcat released Peculiar, a DVD documentary, the Slack In Japan live import and most recently the The Boss Harmony Sessions LP featuring LA DJ Boss Harmony.
