The Sex Pistols are to reissue their song "God Save the Queen" to mark Queen Elizabeth's 50 years on the throne. "(The record) is to be reissued around the Golden Jubilee celebrations on May 27," Virgin Records said in a statement. "It will feature the original artwork." The record is to be released on both 7" and CD single. A 12" release is yet to be confirmed. The Pistols are also in the process of compiling a 3-CD box set which is to include:
CD1. 'Never Mind The Bollocks' plus sessions.
CD2. Rarities and interviews.
CD3. Live recordings, 1976-78.
The set will come in a hardbacked longbox, which will include a booklet. Virgin are liaising closely with John Lydon on the project. Thanks to www.sex-pistols.net for the info
