Michelle Nolan, the female co-singer of Straylight Run has taken a hiatus from the band to work on her solo project. She explained:

I wanted to let you know that after a lot of thought and discussion with the band, i have decided that i am going to take some time off from Straylight Run to work on a solo record. It was a difficult decision to make and please know that i have enjoyed all my time in Straylight Run and i loved meeting all of you through the years and hope to continue to see you in the future! John, Will, Shaun and i are all still close friends and we look forward to playing together again some day. Straylight Run is not breaking up.

The guys will be continuing on without me and this month they are recording some new songs for you all! In the mean time i will be working on my new project and i will keep you informed as things start to come together. Thank you so much for your support and your understanding.
