Brendan Kelly of Lawrence Arms and The Falcon fame is apparently mulling over a new solo seven-inch series. He made the announcement via his blog saying:
I've been writing new songs with the intention of doing a seven inch series, which is a good way, I think, to get some output going without having to live in a studio or a van.
Kelly would not be the first Lawrence Arms member to go that route, with his bandmate and co-vocalist Chris McCaughan releasing music under the name Sundowner. Drummer Neil Hennessy has moonlighted in Smoking Popes, as well as co-writing the Rise Against hit "Swing Life Away" all the while working as a studio engineer.
