Epitaph is reporting that they will release the Division Of Laura Lee's latest album, "Black City," here in North America. The album will be released on 06/26/02 in Europe by Burning Heart and in North America on 07/09/02. Epitaph describes the band as "thrashing, dark-edged, garage rock… A combination of The Stooges, The Hives, Joy Division, The (International) Noise Conspiracy and My Bloody Valentine." This is great, DOLL rules. I'm glad Epitaph has decided to release this, since they only license five or six Burning Heart releases a year (the Epitaph / Burning Heart relationship doesn’t work exactly like the one with Hellcat or Anti).
