Suburban Home Records has announced their latest signing, Gainesville, Forlida's The Takers. The six-piece country band recently contributed a track to Suburban Home's Fest compilation and the label just released a 7" from the band titled Curse of a Drunk. A full-length is in the works and should be ready for early 2009.

Virgil Dickerson of Suburban Home says,

I am really excited. I love this band. I think they fit in perfectly in between Drag the River, Two Cow Garage, and Tim Barry. I mentioned before that they would have fit in well with Waylon and Willie and I stand by that.
