New York Magazine has announced an Indie Rock Karaoke event hosted by Andrew WK and featuring Ted Leo And The Pharmacists. Set for Wednesday, December 3rd at Studio B in New York City, the event will feature a set from Ted Leo followed by an "audience participation" segment with a selection of songs to be performed by audience members and backed by the Pharmacists.
The songs Ted selected include tracks by AC/DC, Amerie, Blondie, Kelly Clarkson, The Clash, Creedence Clearwater Revival, The Cure, Aretha Franklin, Billy Idol, Joy Division, The Kingsmen, Minor Threat, The Misfits, The Outfield, Prince, Queen & David Bowie, Ramones, The Saints, Santogold, Bruce Springsteen, Bruce Springsteen, Steely Dan, Stiff Little Fingers, The Stooges, The Who and Yeah Yeah Yeahs.
