The Teen Idols have returned after a five and a half year dormancy. The band has returned from retirement with plans to record new albums and start playing shows again. Phillip Hill and Keith Witt are returning at guitarist and lead vocalist. The band now features drummer Nathan Bice, who's previously performed in Even In Blackouts and Deadly Sins. An announcement regarding a new bassist is forthcoming.
The Teen Idols were formed in Nashville in 1992 by guitarist Phillip Hill and singer Matt Benson. The band went through numerous line up changes over the years, releasing records for House O' Pain, Fat Wreck Chords sublabel Honest Don's and Fueled By Ramen. The band last released Nothing to Prove in 2003 and broke up during the supporting tour. The group is now based in Chicago, IL.
