Videos of a recent impromptu Frank Turner set have surfaced. The show happened at Titan House -- which indeed appears to be an actual residence -- in Philadelphia, PA on one of the off days of his tour opening for The Offspring (a tour which Turner is blogging about for NME).
Other videos can be seen here and here. Turner's new record and Epitaph debut Poetry of the Deed is due out on September 7, 2009.
Punknews editor Justin August was at the show and reports:
This was insane. I like Frank Turner and all but can you imagine a whole room - roughly 15' by 30' filled with people screaming every single word he sings? Can you imagine a fan almost being knocked down by Tom from the Menzingers (who also played acoustic that night) crowdsurfing during a song? If so then you can imagine this set. It was really great and totally worth the 120 degree temperatures and sweat bros smashed up against you.
