Foo Fighters have announced plans to release a new greatest hits album November 3, 2009. Titled Greatest Hits, the record will feature two new tracks as well as material from Foo Fighters, The Colour and the Shape, There Is Nothing Left to Lose, One by One, In Your Honor and Echoes, Silence, Patience & Grace.

The two new songs are "Wheels," which made its live debut at President Obama and the USO's July 4 barbeque at the White House honoring military heroes, and "Word Forward"--both recorded especially for this collection at the band's own fabled 606 studio complex with producer Butch Vig.
