Creator-Destructor Records has signed Redding, California's post-punk outfit Young Generals. The band will enter Castle Ultimate Studios in Fremont, CA in March to record the follow up to their debut demo and 7", released last year. The recording will surface in a 10" as well as CD format, with an expected May 2010 release date.

Young Generals was formed by Curt Baer of the now defunct hardcore act Set It Straight. The band promises to combine the "grittiness and melody of classic Floridian punk bands, with a west coast flare akin to the Fat Wreck Chords style of the mid 90's". Check out some music on their MySpace page.
