Austin, TX's Cruiserweight have called it a day. The band has scheduled two farewell shows; the first will take place at Emo's in their hometown on April 24, the second at Pensacola, FL's Ready Room on April 30.

Over the years, Cruiserweight issued much of their material through Doghouse Records. Their final full-length, The Smith Tower, was self-released by the band earlier this year.
