Drummer Ali Koehler has left low-fi New York group Vivian Girls to join LA's Best Coast full time. Koehler has been drumming for them as a guest for the past few months but has now made the shift permanent. She'll be replaced in Vivian Girls by Fiona Campbell from the Brooklyn-based band Coasting.

Ali has been with Vivan Girls since 2008 when she filled the void left by their original drummer Frankie Rose, who left the group to join Crystal Stilts. The band last released Everything Goes Wrong in 2009 via In The Red Records.
