Here's your question and answer of the week from the Punknews Formspring:
Q: What has given Gaslight Anthem the impression that American Slang is better than it's predecessors? A: Really?Okay, you're in a band. You just released your newest album, you were just working on and perfecting those songs, and they perfectly represent you and your soul and deal with everything you've been thinking about AT THIS MOMENT.
You put it against your other albums, and they don't even seem to hold a candle to it. Those old albums, to you, are dust.
And then some kid says, "Nah, your old albums were better." -Jesse
