Some interesting news items I found this week. First up, is this article, which states that, according to the RIAA, for trading music over the internet, you should be jailed in federal prison for 1-5 years. Next up, in an analysis of a study stating that Swapping music MP3s is not the cause of the industry's woes, but it may be the cure.. (Just for a counterpoint, the current average time served for murder is eight years)
